Byzantine Roof Tiles
Byzantine Roof Tiles are traditional tiles, consisting of sleepers (bottom tiles) and covers (upper tiles). They are used in churches, domes, roofs of traditional residencies and roofs of unique aesthetics mansions. Production meets customer's requirements regarding dimensions and colouring of tiles.
Their primary advantage is the extra low water permeability property, a characteristic that makes unnecessary the use of silicon or other waterproofing materials. Low water permeability property ensures high endurance under any outdoor weather conditions, especially in areas with frequent low temperatures.
They are produced from pure clay using soft mud method, burned at 1100oC, with none added chemical substances.
